Editorial policy
Where our facts come from.
Creator Growth Tools publishes independent decision guides for creators, newsletter operators, solopreneurs, and small online businesses.
This page covers where facts come from and how sources are weighted. For the questions a tool is compared on, and what the evidence mark on each guide means, see how we review.
Evidence hierarchy
Official vendor pricing, product, help, and legal pages are used for facts such as plan names, feature limits, pricing examples, and license terms.
Verified review marketplaces such as G2, Capterra, or similar sources are used to identify recurring user praise and complaints. We treat repeated patterns as stronger evidence than isolated comments.
Reddit and other community discussions are anecdotal. They can reveal useful workflow language or friction points, but one discussion is not treated as proof of broad platform quality.
No fake hands-on claims
We do not claim to have tested or personally used a product unless an actual hands-on test occurred. When an article is based on official documentation and public review consensus, it says so.
Affiliate neutrality
Affiliate relationships do not determine recommendations. Guides include tools we earn nothing from when they are useful to the reader, and any guide with an affiliate link says so at the top. See how we make money.
Verification dates and corrections
Every guide shows the date its facts were last verified. When pricing, plan structure, or public review consensus changes materially, the guide is updated and the date moves. If you find an error, write to us from the contact page; corrections are made on the page, not quietly deleted.
